At our Smyrna, GA location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D's Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D's Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D's was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Oh my goodness, I was so happy today getting my food. After being in Thailand a month all I wanted was some simple good food. Everything was hot! The service was good. And my food came out fast. I hope this is this locations new norm. I had to pull over and just eat. Couldn’t wait to reach home that’s only about two miles away. 🤣
The drive thru was long so I went inside. It was empty inside. I love Captain Ds grilled fish meal. They're the only one's that give you the option to get the fish the way you like and steamed broccoli the way I like it without all that salt and extra coleslaw dressing stuff for the broccoli. Food was not fresh
Went thru drive thru this afternoon day. I didn't go in its run by an exhausted manager but a pleasant demeanor. Love her crew's customer service method.i'll come again
On the day my wife and I went, there were only two possibly employees working! There was no drive through service allowed, and you had to do dine in only, and you had to pay cash only!!!!! Never going back.
