At our Scottsboro, AL location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D's Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D's Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D's was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Kelly is one of the most rude people taking orders, everytime we come she is being rude to other customers or when she takes our order. The others are always friendly and welcoming and food is good too.
Great food , fresh and hot
We visit or drive through every Sunday and Wednesday to get grilled white fish on the senior menu. 2 meals with drinks for $20.57 (we add a grilled shrimp skewer) so would be under 20 other wise for 2.
Only Captain D's that is consistently good every time we visit. Super fast and always so friendly and the food is always always hot, fresh and correct
Food was hot and fresh!! Tea was delicious. Dining room and bathrooms were clean. Employees were very friendly and welcomed when we came in. It was Senior day. They were extremely busy but we received our order not long after we ordered. Employees were keeping tables clean and trash taken out. This is cleanest Captain D's I have been to in years!! Great job!!
