At our Duncanville, TX location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D's Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D's Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D's was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Awesome service
Me and my Family decided to Dine in at Captain D's Seafood in Duncanville located at 419 east camp wisdom rd..the experience was absolutely Terrible. Parking was fine. We ordered our food which was the supreme sampler and the deluxe seafood platter..half way through eating our food we found a bitten off finger nail on our fried okra ..needless to say we didn't finish our food. . Grossed out by this we showed it to the people in charge there..they didn't so much as give us an apology. .they asked us if we wanted our entire ti... read more
Talked with mgr and asked if they had crab patties, he said yes. So I told him to give me 2 orders to get take home. He place the orders and when I got home I found he had orders salmon patties instead. No one answers the phone in the store, just goes to voice mail. Not a good thing for a store not to have some one answer the phone. Salmon patties were ok but not that great so rated a 3. Service was slow as well.
The food was ok but the baked potato was extremely small, the woman taking our didn't speak English well, communication was difficult and we didn't get all of our order.
The sweet tea is great here!
Southern style white fish is tasty
Shrimp sampler is great.
Good food and the woman that run it are great. Very nice and always a smile
