At our Dothan, AL location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D's Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D's Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D's was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

This was our second visit and both times we had bad food .. the lettuce was brown and wilted , they're fried pickles were sogy, tastless and greasy. The most of the food was cold..... #yuk
The captain D in Dothan on the circle is so much better than any other seafood chain. The food is so good and the prices is very reasonable. Take my Mom there all the time and I go there on dates. A lot of older people eat there. Old people know where the good food is located. Just follow them and you will get good food. I love the 2-3 piece fried fish, coleslaw, string beans. Easy parking, clean environment, and very good seafood. Service is great!
