At our Defiance, OH location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D's Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D's Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D's was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Went an ordered through the drive thru took them a few minutes to take our order and then we were second in line waiting. Person at window was just talking away with the car ahead of us. We were waiting for at least 20 minutes and then we decided to pull out of line an leave. There were 3 cars behind us I felt short for them!!
Used to stop in all the time was always very good and quick. Now half the time lobby is closed or won’t take orders. Waited over 35 mins fora 2 peice fish meal with about 8 of saltiest fries ever. Young kids had no clue what was going on.
