At our Parkersburg, WV location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D's Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D's Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D's was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Sports bar with games playing too loud! Wait staff are slow and rude. Wings were OK. Salad was large but veggies weren't fresh. All the cars in the lot must of been next door. Wouldn't recommend.
Prices are high, portions are small. Batter on fish not cooked all the way through. Lobster bites were a disappointment. What happened to the great seasoned green beans?
Fish quality has declined. Batter is too thick and not cooked completely. Shrimp were spot on. Lobster bites need some help. Green beans are different, not the great seasoning like the past. Wish the fish was like it was 10 years ago.
Food, was nasty, will never eat there again
Don't go here if you're starving, because your extreme hunger could cause you to try to eat the food - and that would be a mistake. Even the corn was lousy (how did they manage to ruin that?!?). On the other hand, at least it's never busy. Want fish and/or battered chicken, et cetera? Drive to Marietta, Ohio and eat at Long John Silver's.
