At our Boaz, AL location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D's Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D's Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D's was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

The food was the best ever gotten at Captain D's, the service was super and the atmosphere was great. Great job folks
The manager Sonya is rude. The way she talks to the employees and customers is very unprofessional. She huffed and puffed while taking orders. A customer had two different orders and she was rude on the headset hung the tickets up and said theirs the stupid tickets. I am a manager and I would be in trouble if I treated my employees or customers like she did. Lobby was disgusting. Food was cold and of course Sonya didn't care. This place needs upper management in here. I will not be back as long as this continues with Sonya.
Had an online order, it was to be ready @ 5:20, I got there @ 5:45 to find out they gave my order to someone else. Soooo I had to sit and wait. I told the guy to make sure everything was there, because last time they left 2 things out of my order. He assured me that everything was there, well I got home and they left out our cole slaw and I couldn't run all the way back to Boaz. The one guy, (I figure was the manager) was not friendly at all, you would have thought it was my fault they gave the order to someone else.. we cal... read more
