We booked a Wednesday evening dinner cruise with Captain Cook Cruises and overall had a lovely experience. The cruise included a 4-course dinner, and I chose the lamb for my main. The food was average — pretty much what you’d expect in a cruise dining setting — but still enjoyable enough for a relaxed night out. Service was efficient, and the staff did a good job considering the boat was fully booked. Overall, we had an enjoyable Vivid Sydney cruise experience. The food was good, and the cruise timing appeared well planned. The vessel spent enough time around the key Vivid attractions, giving passengers plenty of opportunities to go out on deck and take photos. Despite the cruise being busy, the outdoor decks never felt overly crowded, which made photography much more enjoyable. There were, however, a few areas that could be improved. We went on a vivid starlight dinner cruise on Saturday night ..the que was long and the boat was late..but wow that was soon forgotten. It was a first class experience from the minute we got on board The staff were attentivel, warm and very welcoming the service first class. The seating was perfect for viewing the harbour and all of the lights from any seat through the very large windows. The food was fantastic, freshly prepared and generous portions.
