We took the Captain Cook 1 way cruise from Perth to Fremantle. There is a nice choice between inside and outside seat. However you do have to be quick to get an outside, window seat. The commentary was interesting but not to over the top with facts and figures. We booked the cheese & wine add-on. Which was good value, $15 however a couple more crackers would be nice as we felt there wasn't enough for the cheese. It is a snack not a meal however. A very nice afternoon.
A pleasant way to spend a relaxing couple of hours, whether just a one-way to Fremantle or a return, on a picturesque river with some wonderful buildings along the way.
Our Swan River cruise to the Mandoon Estate was fantastic. The highlight was the return cruise featuring live singing by the crew, all of them highly talented. It was one of our best experiences
Three of us had a wonderful day partaking in the “ Taste of The Swan Valley Tour”. From start to finish this tour was well organised and very well run by the professional crew. The commentary from Warren the captain while cruising up the river was most informative and interesting. Both the wine tasting and lunch provided on board was well prepared, delicious and plentiful. Took the cruise from Perth to Fremantle. Lovely views. Informative commentary. Unfortunately much of the commentary couldn’t be heard over the ridiculously loud reverberations from the engines at 8 kts. Shame.
