The aim of Captain Andy and his stalwart crew is to ensure that each guest has the maximum amount of fun. People who want to cruise and play will probably be more than happy with the Captain's itinerary. Sunset sails, whale watches, day cruises and half-day sailing adventures are offered. All of them provide the opportunity to spot whales (in season), spinner dolphins or other beloved Hawaiian marine denizens. Day cruises offer a buffet lunch; evening cruises include cocktails.

Had a fantastic time Capt Brian gave us ample time to see the whales and gave a very informative tour. The food was great and fresh I would definitely do this cruise again when I come back to Kauai.
Excellent crew and trip, maybe more time snorkeling
This was the best boat trip we have been on. The staff was entertaining and helpful. We saw dolphins and whales. The Na Pali coast was beautiful but the ride back was a little rough due to the winds it was hard to eat the tasty food due to the sea rocking us and spraying us with water. I would definitely do it again I would bring a waterproof jacket and take some Dramamine.
I can't think of a better thing to do close to Lihue! The crew and captains on these ships are superb! We saw a sea turtle and at least 5 whales breaching,spouting and clapping on this voyage. The meal was awesome, the staff was precise and superb! If you are going on a luxury liner this should be your choice!
Love Capt.Andy's! Did both the all day snorkeling &rafting trip and the all-day snorkeling and catamaran trip. Both were WONDERFUL <3 Highly recommend them.
My family set sail on the Northern Star sunset cruise to celebrate my 60 th birthday. The weather did not cooperate with the Na Pali Coast, but we traveled south east. We saw sea turtles, and humpback whales. It was a lovely evening. Surrounded by loved ones and Captain Casey and his excellent crew! It was an excellent adventure! Thank you!
Fantastic experience!! We saw humpbacks, sea turtles, and spinner dolphins. Captain Dave, Nicole, Eli, and Lance could not have been more accommodating, more informative, or more fun! Would give this crew 5 stars all the way. Best time yet on Kauai! Mahalo, Southern Star and Captain Andy's!
