LJ Fisher was so patient with our kids, she made sure to go over all safety rules and lesson while keeping kids focused despite it being early morning. My two teens who are normally fearful of new experiences did not hesitate to go in the kayak thanks to the humor, thoroughness andreassurance from LJ. Definitely recommend for teens as I feel it provided a confidence booster in my teens and had them actual see wildlife and experience it and not watching it on TV or their phones!
The web site says "walk ins". I don't recommend it. Unorganized. I will give allowances to the young man working, I think he was new. The launch site is very small and difficult to enter the Kayak. Getting out was more challenging. We had a good time on the water, service was poor , it took about 45 minutes to get into the water.
Capt. LJ takes her time to make sure all her travelers are safe and comfortable. She has a wealth of knowledge to share as you paddle along the canal to the lock, through it, and back. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience!
My boys (teenagers) had the best experience!!! Capt J was detail on safety and gave scenarios of what to do if ….: happens. As a parent I felt at ease with Capt LJ as she was patient and an excellent instructor. As soon as they finished they wanted to know when they could come again. Highly recommend!!!!
First time kayaking… best experience ever!!!! The tour was amazing…the tour guide, Capt LJ, was very knowledgeable, attentive, courteous and gave me great tips how to get my kayak going in the best and safe possible way. We had a very friendly group of people touring with us and I felt very safe and accomplished. I totally recommend Capt.
