RecommendedI was so excited for this visit. I use to work by the 290 location and lunched there often. I loved their food! We have been to this location once before about a year ago and it was great. Most everything was good on this visit except the shrimp in my shrimp basket were very small and dry from being overcooked. It was a bit of a bummer because I was looking forward to this meal and chose to come here instead of another restaurant. the food was horrible. we didn't even take the left overs home to my dog. our server didn't write our order down and brought us the opposite of what we ordered. the chef used a spice that was so overbearing that it made the beer taste bad. the catfish tasted like a dirty hard head that may have been dead too long. my broiled stuffed shrimp was over fried and tough. the hard head my husband had was undercooked. but how can you tell it was by the excessive amount of cornmeal it was battered in.
The jumbo stuff shrimp was awesome!
Friendly folks... never had any problems... love the food!
