I felt like they were not interested in educating me about the contracts. I felt rushed to sign the settlement. When I went home and calculated the prorated costs, I found they miscalculated. Then they said they had to get the buyer to agree to pay me back. As it was their mistake, I asked them to pay me and they could follow up with the buyer. Had to redo the entire settlement. Found their fees are more expensive than others.

Capstone handled the closing for the sale of elderly parent’s home. I came to the closing with my parents and was so impressed with how accomodating and professional the Capstone team was. Amber took the right amount of time to explain the documents and the process. She was mindful of my parents needs and made the whole process so pleasant.

I would never work with this company again. I’ve had my home for 3.5 years and still dealing with issues. I have been trying for WEEKS to get this resolved with no luck still. I always get told “I will speak with the VP and get this resolved” with nothing coming of it. Every time I call I have to re-explain what’s going on; there must be no notes in my file or record me calling multiple times a week. Very poor communication & no follow through.
