Maia, the speech therapist, frequently cancels with minimal notice and there is no clear or consistent holiday schedule provided in advance. Additionally, Bernice, the front desk staff, is extremely unprofessional making the overall experience even more frustrating. We had such a positive experience with our son at Capstone! Mrs. Maia advocated for him and helped him find his voice. She had tailored plans for him every session, and was able to capture the attention of our non-stop toddler. When we started at Capstone, our son only had a few words. By the time we left, he really found his voice both vocally and with his AAC device. We would have stayed as long as possible if we didn’t have to move! We highly recommend Capstone.
My daughter is now 21 years old, she has a diagnosis of autism, and global developmental delay. Her doctor classified her as nonverbal, so her doctor recommended speech therapy.
