Great spot ! Love the vibe.
We hadn’t been there for about 5 years and it was still very good. My husband had crab cake for appetizer and said next time will have it for dinner. His mixed seafood was excellent and I had grilled shrimp with delicious veggies. The key lime pie was also delicious.
We heard mixed reviews about this restaurant but I wanted to try the crab cakes. Lots of jumbo lump crab, however they mix a Dijon mustard with the crab which overwhelmed the crab. The dish was not very good and not very hot. I know the restaurant has been around for a long time they might want to update the recipes and decor.
Some dinners stay with you long after you leave, and our evening at Cap’s Place in Lighthouse Point, near Pompano Beach, was certainly one of them.
