I went there for the first time at lunch expecting fast food. They were very busy with a lot of people waiting on their orders. Their menu is primarily sandwiches with some very good choices. I may have gone at a bad time, and they have a big sign recommending to order ahead, which I will do next time. My sandwich tasted great and I loved the soft bun.
Capriotti's has finally opened. I was there yesterday to try it out. Let me start by saying our sandwich was delicious. Bread was fresh, vegetables crispy - a very good Italian sandwich. The wait was painful. It looks like they have a lot of employees and they were hustling. But many people were waiting for their order. So, have patience until they work those newly opened business kinks out. But do go. I will definitely return.
This place takes over 30 minutes to make a sandwich. It makes it look like they have a lot of buisness but it’s really that everyone is just waiting to get their sandwich. Also there are over 10 employees working making sandwiches but they seem to push out 1 sandwich every 5 minutes or so. It’s very weird.
Had the cheesesteak medium with hot and sweet pepper was tremendous! Spicy just how I prefer. Service was prompt and considering they only opened a week or so ago it’s running like a well oiled machine! The negative reviews are from the usual suspects around this desert that have nothing better to do with their lives. Food is on point and excited to have a new spot for lunch in Rancho Mirage!
