Left Elmira for a short time. Capriotti properties stored all my belongings, as I was returning in a few months. They got rid of/ sold all my belongings without contacting me, even though they had my contact information. On top of that, they refused to return my 500$ security deposit. They are thiefs.
Jim Capriotti is a genuine piece of garbage. I could have sued the shit outta him after he failed to do anything about a bee/mouse infestation which led to personal injury. After the injury, he refused to pay for any medical bills or any reconciliation measure of any kind. Also, the girls at the front desk can’t tell the difference between their ass and elbow. Jim, or any employee of his whack company, if your reading this, I sincerely hope u get a paper cut between your fingers!!!

They are extremely helpful in finding you an apartment. From everyone I have spoken to, all of Jim Capriotti's properties are well maintained, and well priced. Would recommend to anyone!
2 years ago, before we knew about Capriotti , we rented a house site-unseen in Elmira, and upon arrival, we were shocked that the place was uninhabitable. No running water, rat droppings, water damage and mold. We called Lindsey at Capriotti and she and Jimmy and their staff saved us! Lindsey met with us the very same day, offered us a beautiful Victorian, got us a discount the local hotel and arranged a mover for the very next morning. We were harassed by an employee named Joe. He came to my house and decided that it was professional to get in my boyfriends face screaming at him.
Best landlord ever! The properties are well maintained and are well priced for the area!
