I ordered Linguini Carbonara that was served almost cold with the egg sauce essentially uncooked. The waitress apologized but neither offered to replace the dish nor discount my bill. Rock hard too- large croutons on the salad and standard bread rolls that Mrs Shubert could have done better. I hadn’t been here in nearly a year. Now I remember why, unfortunately.
Friendly and attentive staff. Nice restaurant interior, wall mural and nice bar, could use acoustic tiles to cut down on sound reverberation. Hard to hear conversations when lots of people are in the restaurant. The downfall is the pizza. The crust was very bland; the marinara sauce tasted like it was out of a can or at least not freshly made; the specialty meat pizza was not flavorful. Would recommend removing "True" from the name. Food not bad. Coming from a guy who grew up with a mother born and raised in Italy and having eaten at my aunt's tables in Italy many times, the risotto was not so so risotto and the pizza? The sauce was overloaded with Italian spices (ate one slice and the taste lingered far too long despite much water) and the white people was more too much cheese pizza than an actual white...service was great though...
My partner and I found this place and so happy that we did!! The food was great. Authentic Italian cuisine and fresh salads. We had the bruschetta for appetizer. I had the chicken Parmesan and my partner had the Italian trio. Our salads were fresh and the pasta great. We each had a couple glasses of Chianti and couldn’t have asked for better service! I would highly recommend!
