Pick up service for sandwiches was great for takeout and ready on time for pick up. Disappointed in the sandwich. I got the breaded steak sandwich...it was all bread and the cheese was as thick as the meat...3 thin slices of roast beef together and breaded. The breading and marinara had good flavor but no steak/beef flavor. If I added the peppers too, I don't think I would have had any beef taste. So disappointed.
This was my second attempt to get their breaded steak sandwich but since pizza is in their name, had to try their za!! Take-away only, their breaded steak sandwich is very good. It was crispier than the well known ones in The City, but it stands on its own merits. The pizza is here is phenomenal due to the dough they make. Traditional New York style, I also highly recommend the breaded steak sandwich. Make sure to sign up via text because the deals they have on Tuesday’s and Wednesday are impossible to find anywhere else. Where else can you find a one topping 14” for freaking $12!! Luca is the man, great personality and genuinely cares about his customers.
