worst bartender ever. dont go there – The bartender was drinking on the job and being very rude to us. She was an Asian girl obviously intoxicated. I have never experienced such a rude bartender. She demanded tip and had added some drinks to our bill that we had not had. The rest of the worker were obviously intimidated by her and were very disconcerned when we voiced our concerns. Collateral Before You Eat A Meal – Capones Bar & Grill 4304 Westheimer: On Friday 3/18/11 approx 9:00 p.m. Our group of 10 people were sat at a outside table by the waitress. The waitress first requested the entire table give her a credit card to keep everyones bills separate. We all gave a credit card but felt what is really happening. Great Bar with Live music or DJ (two in one) – Best days for me is on Friday with the greatest blues band in Houston by Name Luther & the Healers. Another would blue be Wednesdays with the unbelievable Trio kick butt blues band. If you like other kind of music party and hip then friday in the back room will be the place. There is plenty of room to dance, go to see the blues dancers or the west coast swing dancers. Eye popping experience when they do come out.
Nothing is "good" at Capone's...it is "excellent". Houston has so many diverse restaurants and I like to pride myself on walking into a new place at least once a week. Few places would I deem a favorite "haunt" but this is one of them. Yes, I am a repeat offender and I will am sure I will be back before the week is over. Great Place To Hang Out – I have been to Capone's on Saturday nights. The food is great; however, the bar behind it (The Hideout) is where we usually hang out. The DJ is awesome and the staff is very friendly. Love the open bar with the patio - gives it a very intimate feel, yet very open. Definitely recommend it to those that want to have a good time!
Great Bar! – I have never eaten at the restaurant but frequent the back bar on Saturday nights. The DJ is great and the staff there is friendly. I love the open outdoor concept to the back bar. Great place to go on the weekends.
Best Pizza – This is the first review I have ever done on CitySearch, and this place drove me to do it. I loved it. The pizza is by far the best in Houston! The service was spectacular. The house salad is excellent with the cheese on top of a large slice of pear! YUM!!
