I had been wanting to learn Capoeira for many years but never lived near an opportunity. I moved to ABQ in Feb of 2010 and began taking classes in March. My first impressions of the owner/instructor Mestre Virgulino were a humble and very positive man. When I began classes I had been out of training for anything for years due to 2 wrist surgeries and a back surgery and weighed nearly 350lbs.
