Hi, My father was on the rehabilitation floor at Capital Lakes downtown Madison for about six months until he passed away in July 2024. In June of 2024, my dad required assistance from two people for mobility. He got up every day, ate meals and watched TV with the other residents throughout the week days. The problem was obvious when we visited on Sunday mid-morning: he was sliding out of bed about to fall on the floor and stated he hadn't left bed for two days and was trying to get up. I was there after my cancer surgery which involved the spine and I found the staff to be caring, attentive, meals good, therapy outstanding.

Excellent care of my mother after hospitalization. Nursing and adjunct staff is caring and professional. Very well organized team from social services, physical therapy, OT, nursing administration. Highly recommend.

Stay away from this facility at all costs. I am writing this review, hoping that this will save the life and preserve the quality of life that your loved ones deserve. This facility will say they are capable of taking care of your loved one when they are not able to, even though they will claim that they have the staff and the means to look after your loved one the way they deserve, they fail.
