After having a mixed feeling about doing another float I did and it was such a greatly different experience! When I made my appointment I put a note on it that my tub felt cold and so when I arrived Brie was so elegant and helpful with explaining the tub temperature and making sure I was in a tub that was as warm as possible. She also recommended some music and lighting which I took! I still felt the temp of the water could have been warmer but that’s because I get cold so easily and just like warm. I’ll start with- I always enjoy coming here. Never once regretted it. 🤩 I mostly love coming here. This time it was a little off. The water was extra salty and I got it in my eyes. It felt really warm, maybe it was because it was so hot outside, but it was a lot for me. There were a few little things and it wasn’t quite the perfect I was looking for.
The experience was great. The attendant was very accommodating.
I love Capitol Floats! The space is really cool and offers a very welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. They have sensory deprivation float tanks in private rooms with showers. My favorite experience is the cold contrast therapy room. This is also a private room that has a dry sauna and a cold plunge that you rent for 45 minutes. I recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind, recover, rest, or just have a wonderful self care day.
I’m a near-daily Fire & Ice member for over a year and this place rocks! The contrast therapy does wonders for my workout recovery and mental health simultaneously. I prefer steam saunas over other types and this one may be the best in Sac! The staff are welcoming and prioritize my experience, especially Brie, Mecca, and Tiffany! 🔥❄️
