I was privileged to take my Mom (89) for a Dr. Lewis appointment today. If getting a shot in the eye for macular degeneration can be “pleasant,” he certainly made it that way for Mom. As the concerned son, when I asked if I might ask a few questions, his quick response was “Fire away!” He also allowed me to video his comments for the sake of my non-present sisters. I cannot express enough how fortunate I am to be sent to Dr. Lewis. After receiving less than adequate eye exam with a different doctor, I opted for a 2nd opinion. That 2nd opinion with Dr. Vann in Fulton, brought me to Dr. Lewis. Dr. Lewis explains what he has found, goes through the procedure with you, has a kind and gentle voice.
