I was privileged to take my Mom (89) for a Dr. Lewis appointment today. If getting a shot in the eye for macular degeneration can be “pleasant,” he certainly made it that way for Mom. As the concerned son, when I asked if I might ask a few questions, his quick response was “Fire away!” He also allowed me to video his comments for the sake of my non-present sisters.
