Overpriced but very good hot dogs. Fantastic staff. Wonderful room ... but sadly now closed.

Hot dog lovers beware! A friend mentioned this place for a good hot dog, trust me the big "W" is never an option for me. But unfortunately all I got from this place was regret for 2 days! Sure I thought my hot dog tasted okay, even though it seemed a bit on the cold side when served...i mean its a hot dog, usually they are served piping hot right? Well, a few hours later and all thru the night I paid for the hot dog again...with a stomach ache that wouldnt stop!

Love to go there on a nice day, look at all the hot dog related stuff all over the place while in line to order a Prop 51 (Chicago style dog). Then sit outside on the patio and they bring you your dog in a basket with nice hot fries. The service has always been quick and friendly. Dogs are a bit on the expensive side, but hey -- they are very tasty, real dogs, served on a quality bun with the right fillings. Capital Dawg is a good experience, serving up quality hot dogs in a place that does the city proud.

They had great options for this vegetarian. I only went because I had a coupon, but now that I've seen how delicious their food is and how helpful and friendly their staff is, I'm definitely going back.
