This business needs to be called out for their blatant greed and ignorance for the safety and welfare of their patrons. My daughter went with a group of young adults to Cork & Board last night. There was an active tornado WARNING in Jefferson City, it was dark, rainy, and the sirens were sounding outside, and a man (who she presumed was the owner) DENIED her being able to seek shelter in the basement, instead he turning the music up to cover the sound of the sirens, and joked that "if he saw something outside" he'd allow the... read more

Interesting atmosphere in an older, charming building. We sat outside, and the server was more than accommodating and checked on us frequently. But all four of us decided that our drinks (four different drinks) were less than expected. Two of us even mentioned that they might be the worst cocktail we've ever had. His was the Scotland Yard, and mine was the Checkmate. The checkmate apparently claimed to be an Old Fashioned, but unlike other drinks, didn't mention any of the ingredients.
