Today I brought my 2018 lexus lc500 to get a state inspection. Now the reason I'm leaving this review is not because he lfailed me for sunscreen tint on the windshield is what he said but the fact that he started removing a little at the top corners so it has to come down now and of course he recommended someone he knows to remove the rest he also cut into it taking the old inspection sticker off . He never asked did I have or were able to get a dmv clearance . I wish there was a way that I could show photos .
Walid is amazing! We are on a road trip halfway across the country when we start experiencing a wobble that got progressively worse. Trying to find an auto shop as an out of towner is rough, but based on the reviews we decided to try Capital Auto. My family's van broke down at 5:15 pm on a Friday in D.C. on our way from Virginia to Wisconsin. It couldn't go more than 40 MPH. We went to Capitol Auto Care just because they were open until 6 on a Friday. They quickly diagnosed the problem and were ready to fix it the next day - Saturday. As a 24 year old woman it is always difficult to find a shop that will not take advantage of you but I can honestly say you do not have to worry about that here! I had such a wonderful experience with this shop! I would absolutely recommend them for all of your vehicle needs. They were very honest and did not try to sell me anything I did not need. We met Wahid when we lived in Burke in the 90’s. Always provided fantastic customer service. We moved 40 miles south in 2003 but my dad, who always did his own car repairs, started going to him in 1991. 33 years later we took his car to Wahid for brake issues today. He got us in and out in lightening speed and spent some Q time just reminiscing. Anyone who lives in or near Alexandria, I’d recommend taking your vehicle to him. The most honest, personable, and professional car repair professional I’ve ever known.
