I had a appt. for a bad ear infection and found out I also had strep. After 5 days on z pack my ear infection got worse. I usually have not had this medication work for sinis and have always had to a second antibiotic. This time was no different. I requested Bactrim for the ear which started to clear yet after 3 days my throat began to get worse. I called the answering service to have a dr call me back.
