I recently gave birth with Capital Womens Care and they have truly provided great care. Thank you Dr. Vemuri for helping deliver our precious son and for talking me through multiple treatment options for my severe post partum anxiety. Other doctors such as Dr. Hibschman, Dr. Jackson, Dr. Kim, and Dr. Moore provided great care during my pregnancy and postpartum. My experience at Capital Women's Care was excellent. The Front Desk was able to give me an appt within 24 hours (I did not have an emergency). I waited in the lobby only 5 minutes before seeing a doctor. Meeting Dr. Stas made me feel very much at ease. She asked questions, listened, cared and resolved my issue. I would recommend Dr Stas to any woman who needed to see a GYN.
I hate to have to give only 1 star because Dr. Jackson is wonderful. Unfortunately the billing staff and practices negate all the good she does. I had a bill submitted to Medicare with an incorrect code so the practice sent it to me to pay. Despite frequent calls to request that they resubmit with the correct code, they never did and instead sent my bill to a collection agency. The front desk receptionists are horrific. Insanity rude and should not be working in customer service.
Dr. Kim was incredibly friendly, compassionate, and kind. She truly listened to me. My previous provider (who I went to for years) dismissed my concerns and said to come back in a year. I felt defeated. My local social media hive-mind led me to Capital Women's Care. Dr. Kim treated me with incredible respect and care and I felt comfortable talking to her. She is an absolute gem and I'm so glad I found this practice!
