I just left my appointment and wanted to share just how wonderful the NP Ciara Perkins is. She not only takes extensive amounts of time listening to history and concerns, but never makes you feel rushed, is a trauma informed care provider, and has made me feel beyond comfortable in the office after previous negative experiences at other practices.
Dr Foster carefully reviews my history before our appt so she is up to date on everything we have been tracking over the years. She is sincerely interested in my health and changes over the past year.
I haven't been delivered here yet so I'm nervous to even post about this but I just went in today and I can't get it out of my head how I wasn't informed about a membrane sweep before the doctor performed it. She told me mid sweep, close to the end what she was doing. It was in my birth plan not to have membrane sweeps and I only checked for my dilation as ammunition to fight for a vbac. Dr. Heiden is a wonderful doctor. She is patient and listens to your questions. She provides the information to you in manageable pieces. I had been going to her for several years now.
