I would avoid this practice. At my appointment with Dr. Jean Hundley, she pressured and actually forced me into stopping a medication I had been on for an entire decade because of a small side effect. She had already prescribed me that medication for a full year, and she never once asked about side effects. I just happened to volunteer that information. Dr. Lynch was very friendly and listened to my concerns. She offered clear explanations on her opinions and recommendations. I would highly recommend her and this practice.
Laura Burnham was extremely kind and took the time to answer all of my questions about my own fertility. I went to Capital Women's Care for a fertility assessment and a second opinion after a visit with Shady Grove earlier this year that left me with a lot of anxiety. After my consultation with Laura, I left feeling reassured and my anxieties were put at ease. I will definitely be seeking services at Capital Women's Care for my annual OB/GYN appointment, and am now grateful they accept my health insurance.
I followed Dr. Baras to this practice, as she is wonderful. The practice is clean and modern, and the front desk staff were very friendly.
