Capital West has inspected & leveled our modular home twice now. Brian did the work both times & we are very happy with the service. Brian is very thorough beginning with the phone call to communicate when he would be arriving, to explaining the work he did & what needs attention & when. The entire process starting with the initial contact with the scheduler, Ellen(?), the follow through & work being completed was excellent. We definitely recommend this company & Brian.

I have worked with Capital West and they did good work for me in the past. Unfortunately, I just had them replace a bathroom window and they installed a window with a white frame when all my other windows in my home are black frames. The installer never communicated to the company that it was the wrong window and told me he would paint the frame. He painted the outside but the rest of it is still white, doesn't match any other windows, and took 3 months to be installed. I had to do the followup to see when it arrived, and th... read more

One of the windows they installed is leaking when it rains outside, and Capital West is not coming back to fix it, giving me the empty promises instead. Also the installer never came back to put the trim around the windows, his name is Ed. I would not recommend this dishonest company.

We had a very frustrating experience with Capital West The Manufactured Home Specialists when helping my mom build a porch for her manufactured home. This project required approval through California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD), and unfortunately the process was poorly managed from start to finish. The porch was completed in October 2025, but the first inspection in November failed. After that, communication became a major issue. I called to get my house releveled & while they technically did the job the person (only one person was sent out) failed to notify me that my footings were very rotted to the point where you could touch them & the area you touched would crumble like if it was sand. Took the case to license board & was notified that the contract was solid. Waste of money & time as the other task I asked them to take care of they weren't interested in doing. They don't want to do work.
