I couldn't believe how knowledgeable and well-informed the staff was. They were able to answer all my questions, except the ones they needed to have their boss's input on. It was great to be able to talk to such a skilled staff. I've been to other vets that have designated areas for dogs to go to the bathroom but I didn't see one here. It really wasn't that big of deal though because there was a little grass outside the office so it was fine. They always go above and beyond to help me with anything I need. I brought my recently adopted puppy to this vet, who assured me that she had been spayed and charged me for the visit. Three months later I come home from work to find menstrual blood all over my apartment and my dog in heat. I called the vet to complain and didn't even receive an apology, much less a refund. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE.
Great place to take your pets!! I am a long term client of capital plaza and I have never had a bad experience with the new owner and staff. the review posted my have been due to the old owner. The doctors and staff at capital plaza are always attentive and caring.

I used to bring my dog, Chaucer, to Capital Plaza Animal Hospital to be bathed, back when David Smith, DVM, owned the hospital. My regular vet is Fred Scarbrough, DVM, but Capital Plaza is close to where I live and work. I left my 11-year-old Greyhound mix dog, Chaucer, for a bath at Capital Plaza Animal Hospital on December 29, 2006, Dr. Manu was the new owner and veterinarian.
