It was easy to make an appointment with very little wait time, it was close to my work and after my working hours. Free parking is available. I made the appointment because my previous prescription had expired and I couldn't purchase additional contact lenses. I purchased my glasses really expensive prices they gave them to me and I couldn’t see well I got dizzy, I called back they te tested me and they found a problem with the glasses they promised me to give them to me the following Tuesday, they were supposed to call me, nobody did I called the Thursday and they just told me again the glasses arrived and they had another issue. My family visited a few months back. I gave 2 stars as they were very accommodating for last minute appointments and the owner and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Although I only gave 2 stars as I would not recommend for any children! My 2 children both used their once a year OHIP appointment here and I’ve had to pay out of pocket for both of them to be seen elsewhere! I had an absolutely amazing experience with Capital Optical at their Kanata location. The owner Greg and the receptionist Anne took the time to help me select glasses that suited me best. I received my eyeglasses and sunglasses within a couple of weeks. This is my first pair of progressive eyewear and Anne patiently walked me through what to expect and some tips and tricks to help me while I adjusted.
