This company is a friggin' joke! I'm banking with everyone from Smith Barney to local state banks and I have never been treated so incredibly RUDE! They KNEW we were moving OUT OF STATE and would be needing to wire funds we received from one escrow company to another. We just went to do that and they REFUSE to do the wire. I think they think that the customer's money is actually theirs. We are going to have to fly back to New Orleans from Denver to get a cashier's check to close on our house here. Banking practices are ridiculous. Getting information is difficult. Complete waste of my time on three separate occasions. Awful.
Note to Capital One customers: I’m closing my accounts when I get back home. I misplaced my debit card so just cancelled it on the way to Texas thinking I would replace it when I got to Austin. I went to the local branch. The lady got out a new debit card and asked for my ID. When she saw it was out of state she said they could not replace our of state cards.
