I initially opened a Hibernia National bank around October 1998 that apparently was bought by Capital One years later. Have had the same account number since then. In addition to the original checking account I've also opened a savings and other online market accounts. I've had direct deposit for over 10 yrs until just over a year ago and have noticed the ridiculous fee I've been charged any time my checking account balance drops below $300. Capital One Bank on Loop 281, Longview, Tx clears large check "funds are available". Within hours they CLAIM our account is overdrawn. Once CAPITAL ONE bank said the funds from the check were available Rob transferred some of the money into our savings account. The savings account had the money, but the checking account was overdrawn...???
