I will not be returning to this office. I had a gynecology appointment today with Abisola Luther, as a new patient. I expressed concerns regarding my endometriosis which I have been dealing with now for over 15 years. When I expressed the many symptoms I experience they were reduced to “nausea, that most women have during their period” . When I requested a referral for a laparoscopy after again explaining my symptoms I was asked “why for your own curiosity?”. I’ve come to Capital Health OBGYN for years to see Dr. Belwani who is sadly no longer with the practice. So when making my appointment I told them to schedule me with whoever. I was running late to my 11:45 appointment, so I called and was told as long as I was there within the 15 minute grace period that was fine. I arrived within that window at 11:56, however, I was told Amy Stoner, the woman I was supposed to see, had gone to lunch. I’m currently 8 months into my pregnancy and needed assistance with rescheduling an appointment, the receptionist who answered named Dominique sighed loudly when I told her I needed to reschedule then started giving me an attitude over the phone, spoke over me and hung up. I understand getting paid $18 an hour is frustrating but if this is how you treat patients you don’t need to be working in the healthcare field. Especially dealing with pregnant women! Unbelievable. I’ve never experienced anything like this. I’ve been trying to schedule an appointment since October 2024. They told me to follow up for the 2025 schedule and assured me they would call me when it opened. I’ve been consistently following up, calling to check if the schedule was available, and every time, they told me it wasn’t. Today, I called again, only to be told that there won’t be any available spots for the next six months. Expect to wait an hour for your appointment to receive a rushed and hurried service. Would not recommend.
