Always told they will write certain notes on my chart and it never gets done. Would like to see the Doctor's be more attentive to patients personal concerns and birthing plans. Also no matter which Capital Health office I visit, there is always problems with faxing over information from other offices/ hospitals/ informationnot being saved. Feels like administrative work needs more attention. Some of the staff are very friendly and helpful however such as the lady at reception and the nurse who checks my vitals.
I gave birth to an 11 lb 1 oz baby because they refused to listen to my concerns. I also had to get a hip surgery because they again, didn’t listen to any of my concerns. I had a hip surgery a few years ago and provided all my medical records to show I have a bad hip and it cannot withstand childbirth. They completely ignored me and I ended up re-tearing my hip. Came to this office dissatisfied with my last gyn. I first had Dr. Kuhn. I felt like he was the first doctor to actually listen to me and help me get to the root of my problems. Dr K went out on leave and referred me to Dr. Walker as I decided that a hysterectomy was the best thing for me. She also made me feel at ease every visit. I never was left wondering. The two new receptionists can’t seem multitask and seem extremely disconnected from patients, compared to the two they previously had. Wait time to check in two patients with two receptionist at the desk was pretty ridiculous.
