**Update*** After to multiple complaints to CDPHP about sharing personal and health information with a 3rd party affiliate ROS law firm. CDPHP told us we would be added to the do not contact list. ROS law firm acknowledged this request and sent a a signed letter saying we would not be contacted again and added to there list. A couple years went by and on 9/11/25 ROS law firm sent a letter inquiring about a medical service we received. Worst insurance ever!!If there were black stars to give for negative services I would give it 10/10 black stars!I was paying $1200 a month,and when it was time for them to pay my health bills they covered 14$ for one bill and co-pay for me was 238$ and the other bill they contributed $0 and I got a co-pay of 283$.Before choosing the plan,I visited tgeir customer center located in Albany Medical center and they walked me through everything and encouraged me to get the plan,eventually when after getting co-pay like this I call... read more

They denied a poor boy who was hit by a drunk driver destroying his life . Family wanted rehab and was denied !!!! Disturbing how you can sit in an office chair making life altering decisions for families and denying needed services.

I have been with cdphp for more than 20 years. Most Dr's and specialist take cdhp since I recently became disabled and have medicare cdhp canceled my insurance with them because I have Medicare. They apparently don't allow to be a secondary insurance and they do not want those with Medicare who get ssdi..... now I will not be able to see half of the Dr's and specialist I need to see for my physical and mental health because the providers only take cdhp. 20+ years of being a customer/ patient with cdhp just for them to drop m... read more

I was off this insurance for about 4 months. I missed it. And I'm glad to be back. I have had cdphp since before it was cdphp. I don't want other insurance they have been very easy to work with 95% of the time. A couple of hitches have happened, but they've been worked through. I will say this is a very Capital District oriented health insurance, so if you decide to move to Tennessee this probably is not the insurance that you should take with you.
