Just a reminder that this company sucks. If your builder uses them, I recommend you look for another builder. They are primarily a builder only flooring installation business. We purchased a new home from Carr Homes in Virginia where Capital Carpets Inc. installed the flooring, both carpet and hardwoods. The hardwoods have mostly held up with some unexpected gaps, but the biggest issue are the carpets. The owner Brian is a rude irresponsible human being. This is my second encounter with this lazy fraud who uses illegal workers or unlicensed contractors to do shotty flooring installation. No wonder he continues to work for Wormald homes. Stay away from these people. If you have issue with your flooring report them to the National Flooring Installers Association they will investigate on your behalf. All flooring comes typically with a long warranty. If you want flooring that will collapse within the first 3 months of use, then you should use Capital Carpets. They installed a faulty product that had holes, not only in the installed panels, but also in the uninstalled panels. They asked us to wait one year for them to order the product and then replace the faulty material. I had to follow up in a year and they did not know what I was talking about even though I had a conversation with the President about getting all faulty panels replaced.
