Obviously, it has not been Capistrano's for some time. Thanksgiving dinner was VERY good but there is no decor, ambiance or charm any longer to the restaurant. It has been gutted, no beautiful courtyard to sit in while eating and the other Polynesian room is just a large room without the thatched roof and booths. It is full of typical cushioned, metal chairs with dark table cloths and a pumpkin on each. It's a large, bland, stark room. The food is top-notch, and the waiter was very attentive to us. We enjoyed this thoroughly! The place has a lovely acquarium to look at with several tropical fish. The owner sure takes pride in this restaurant, and this shows in the quality of food and service. It's well worth the price you pay for this kind of dining!
