My mom was only at Cape Memory Care for a few short months but she was very well cared for in that time. The staff was very caring and attentive and the leadership team was great. I truly felt that everyone involved in my mother's care was invested in her well-being and they were very kind to her as she was passing. I also appreciated the support they provided to our family as we were trying to navigate the difficult challenges that having a family member with memory issues presents. My father moved into Cape Memory Care in the middle of January this year and the reviews made me hesitant but after his admission I felt driven to write a review myself. My dad has thrived within this community. He is treated with respect, patience, and dignity. The decision to place a loved one into any facility outside of their own home is a heavy decision. My mother in law was going down hill fast with wandering and anxiety fueled by her cognitive decline but once we got her into Cape Memory Care her rate of decline slowed greatly and her anxiety lessened under the care of so many caring people. There are lots of activities to keep her busy and she has made many great friendships. This is never easy for loved ones but knowing she is safe and less anxious is a great relief. The staff has a demanding job and they do it very well.
