Top notch! Receptionist, staff and doctors are courteous and receptive to your needs. I question all the negative reviews given about this VA clinic.
Unprofessionalism. When I see a doctor or nurse practitioner, especially when blood pressure has been 173/117, I would assume these numbers, because I have no medical degree, are rather high and would raise concern. But not for the nurse practitioner I seen today. I asked why we had never done an EKG or a heart monitor prior to today. I was frustrated, rightfully so. I have no complaints about the people that have helped me so much and treated me so well. The only complaint I have is about the phone system. It's a bit irritating to not be able to call directly to the Cape clinic. I have to go through Poplar Bluff and be put on hold there and then put on hold again at the Cape clinic. I would be just fine with being put on hold once at the Cape clinic. Wouldn't it be common sense to be able to actually call the place you want directly?
