Chose Cape Fear because it was close to home and had a few positive referrals and I'm very happy I made that decision. The nursing staff was amazing, PT and OT staff pushed without making me feel like I was going to fail. Everyone was kind and compassionate. My prognosis is still a giant unknown but the staff gave me all the tools to come home and keep fighting for a recovery where I can walk and void on my own. I have to say that doing exercise is not usually my favorite experience. After laying in the hospital bed however I had lost a lot of my strength and it was suggested that I attend inpatient rehabilitation. The Cape fear staff at rehabilitation and occupational therapy were top-notch. They were helpful supportive and above all understanding. I can't praise them more highly
