Hello, and welcome to Cape Fear River Adventures! Our only goal is to share our passion for paddling and the outdoors with as many of you as we can! We offer Lazy River Tubing and rental of Canoes, Kayaks and Paddle Boards! Covering 25 miles of the river with trips from 1 hour to 2 days, flat or whitewater, we have adventures for curious beginners on up to the seasoned outdoors-person! Gorgeous River, nice staff. I would not book the easy kayak trip again as it took us 1 hour to do it and for 2 people they charged $111 total. Very overpriced for what you get. The kayaks are old and beat up and not comfortable. Paddles are super beat up. Life jackets are old and gross. I would not complain if it has been like 60 bucks total but just be aware when paying this price that it’s not worth it. The tubing trip is probably better as it cost less and will take longer to get done.Â
I went to CFRA this past weekend and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the facilities and equipment are really well taken care of. It’s obvious that the owners and staff care greatly about the company and ensuring customers have a fun, safe time on the river. This was my first time kayaking and I already can’t wait to go again! Highly recommend!Â
Tubing down the Cape Fear River was fun! It wasn’t deep.Â
Great spot for river sports. Also, a great spot to celebrate your outing with a delicious meal or 😋 snack.Â
