Older lady with blonde hair is unprofessional! Came here twice and both times were awful. Just now she sat at the window chatting with a friend for 20 minutes leaving a long line waiting. Last time she did not seal the medicine correctly so half spilled in the car. This woman was talking about the beach, the weather, she brought up every topic possible to stall from doing her job. Cape fear pharmacy and compounding is conveniently located for residents of the monkey junction area of Wilmington. They have a friendly and knowledgeable staff. The reason that I visited is that they have an excellent service for unwanted medications. They have a dropbox where you can leave expired or unwanted medications. There are surprisingly a low number of medication drop boxes in the Wilmington area. This helps keep medical compounds out of our water and landfills, etc..

This is the best pharmacy I have ever worked with. They have worked with me every step of the way to manage my parents numerous medications, including packaging them into pre-sorted blister packs, making frequent changes that were required by different prescribing physicians, and delivering medications to my parents' door. New orders for ongoing prescriptions were always filled and sorted promptly, and prescriptions for acute medication needs always available. The community pharmacy our grandparents had. Locally owned and operated. More than prescriptions excellent prices on OTC sunscreen ect. Avoid Walmart pop in. The staff have literally kept myself,my husband and my mother out of the hospital.
