On December 4th, my eye doctor referred me to Cape Fear Cataract & Cornea for Cataract surgery. After not hearing anything from this office, I followed up with my eye doctor to determine the status of my referral. My eye doctors office reached out to CFC&C. My eye doctor's office was informed that CFC&C had "attempted to reach me and had left me two VM messages". No, I had 0 missed calls and no VM message from their office. They lied. Most reviews very old. I guess if I could have seen better, I would have went somewhere else...lol. Terrible customer service on the phone and in person is hit or miss. Schedule lots of time in your day for an appointment because you'll be waiting awhile. Cataract surgery helped somewhat with the vision but still having lots of issues. I would definitely recommend going elsewhere.
What a positive experience I had at Dr. Groat's office. The staff was very helpful and efficient. Dr. Groat took time to thoroughly explain the options I had for my vision correction and to answer all my questions. Dr. Groat has completed surgery for both of my eyes. The results are awesome. I can see so well now. Thank you Dr. Groat, you are truly a perfectionist.
Cape fear cornea and cataract was an awesome choice I was made to feel comfortable allthough I was nervous. The experience I had was great. My surgeon Dr. B Grout is a first class professional. He knows his stuff. I couldn't have been more satisfied. Thank you, Melinda
