Mr. Lawton is excellent at customer service. His business is clean and welcoming. I will definitely bring my car here for any needs in might have.
Brought in my car for a suspension noise and it would actually be a second opinion after the first place couldn't find anything broken or loose. They found the issue, loose sway bar links, they tightened it up and no more noise. Cost me $47 for them to find the problem and fix it VS the first place not finding the problem and recommending I just change the strut, CV axle, and control arm for $1,859
Been going here for a few years and have nothing but good things to say. Good, honest folks who do good work and who have gone out of their way several times to keep me out. Great shop.
Update: After our first experience with Cape Fear Auto we started using them for all our automotive needs for over four years. They deserve the five-star review even more than the original post. They were always honest, incredibly helpful, and their prices were very fair. We moved out of state recently and are now looking for a gem like Cape Fear Auto in our new home. I've put these guys through the ringer with a 2008 Kia, 1997 Tacoma, and a newer Corolla. I can't believe I haven't written a review after being a customer for 14 years now. The customer service is beyond exceptional.
