I see a psychiatrist here and called recently to get in sooner bc of the nature of my symptoms getting worse. They could have gotten worse from a hormone pill I was prescribed by my gyn bc nobody is educated on mental illness in this society. NOBODY called me back at all. I feel like I dont matter.
I have been going there for twelve years and had the best therapist for the whole time. Diane Cooper helped me so much with traumatic things in my life. She was so easy to talk to and she didn’t let me get away with anything but gave me so much help that I could carry with me for the rest of my life. Having been a patient since pre-COVID, providers have been hit or miss. The psychiatry side was always stronger than the counseling side, but counselors can be hit or miss depending on personalities. That being said, Dr. Kendra Kobrin and Clare Terrio have both proven themselves to be exemplary examples of what mental health providers should strive to be. Dr. Kobrin takes the time. I am almost shaken by the horrible experiences people have had here, according to the reviews. I was very unaware of all the people that described their cruel treatment. As for me, nurse practitioner Jen Marlin has been nothing but real, caring and extremely smart. She cares and has a sense of humor.
