it is as bad as people say, heed your warning, just unprofessional people working there, we need better options for help with better doctors and nurses, lower level staff is only staff who are ok, still not the level of care where it should be, so much trauma in those walls up here, unless you are quite literally on the verge of death please find another place to go

The nurse practitioners at Cape Cod Hospital Behavioral Health were toxic and uninformed as they showed no compassion for me, even though my doctor prescribed me an antidepressant that triggered hypomanic symptoms. They were quick to incorrectly label me as bipolar even though I had been screened by an organization before taking Paxil and there was no bipolar disorder.
